Service Description

Working with the amazing Christina this small and exciting class will introduce you to a wealth of techniques and approaches to creating personal artworks. Each week learn different art skills whilst we take part in fun art activities. Plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits are on offer to make for a really enjoyable morning. No experience is necessary! This Term: 1. Setting up sketchbook pages- Learn how to prep pages and then have a go at sketching using different materials on your page. 2. Colour- Create an interesting patterned 8 point star whilst learning about different colour mixing 3. Loose Florals - Lets have a go at using inks to paint some flowers in a nice free style 4. Oil Pastels - Lets learn some oil pastel techniques whilst creating an image 5. Indian Block printing - Using wooden blocks to create some interesting patterns on fabric 6. Step by step painting- Follow me step by step to create a painting 7. Shadow painting - Lets capture shadows and the light in this simple and lovely workshop. Each week we do something that might get you messy so please dress appropriately.
