Service Description

Adults + families 10 years+ The walls of the chapel are packed full of fossils. We will explore how sea life has been captured in rock and what our area would have looked like 180 million years ago. Through beautiful examples we will identify, create a print and cast our own pieces using clay and plaster to take home. This workshop is being run by Abi Nicol and local Geologist Rob Barnes. Using fabulous examples you will learn about the sea life that would have been living here and what remains today. Bring your own lunch. Price includes materials and refreshments.
