An exciting opportunity for young people 12-18years to work with professional photographer, Rita Long of Hundred Heroines– over the three days you will be taught how to use a DSLR camera and a host of different lens! Each person will be able to develop images that tell a visual story. The final outcomes will be shown in an outdoor exhibition in September. Photography is a powerful storytelling tool—capturing moments, memories and movements in a single frame. This workshop explores how images can go beyond aesthetics to convey emotion, spark change and give voice to untold stories. You’ll learn how to craft compelling visual narratives that resonate. Through hands-on exercises and group discussion, we’ll explore composition, sequencing and meaning-making.
