Service Description

Over this 7 week course and with guidance from your tutor Di you will be completing a selection of varied crafts along with a cuppa and plenty of chat! The lovely Di always has some surprises up her sleeve! Using unusual materials you will be able to be supported to make lovely 2 and 3D pieces for you and your home. Cost includes all materials and refreshments Whether you are a seasoned crafter or interested in giving it a go, you will find you'll be guided and helped to create work to be proud of! This term: Book folded Christmas Trees Glue gun stars and icicles. Tree decorations Gift boxes, envelopes etc. Plus a collaboration piece for the chapel's 3D Advent Calendar! The chapel offers small group sessions (our exercise classes have a max 8 participants and creative 10) in a supportive and caring environment; we always use lovely materials and tea/squash/snacks are available. We rely completely on grants and donations - we have two subsidised tiers, plus a chance for you to donate £12 towards the true cost of the course. If you can afford to do so it will enable us to support future classes and widen our work in the community. So far this year each class has been costing us an average of £19.56 per person to run - these costs are due to rise this term. The Quarry Chapel never wants anyone who would like to take part not to do so due to prohibitive costs.
