Set up as a relaxed atmosphere in The Engine (old Oxfam shop), surrounded by inspiring creative work made by current attendees at the Quarry Chapel. To celebrate our exhibition we are offering Why Not Try workshops. Come for an hour and half to an experimental drawing session. This fun workshop aims to take the worry out of drawing, allowing you to be free and experimental. We will use lots of materials and different approaches to create a tester page. We will not be drawing an object, nor a scene, just creating marks on paper. We will be using graphite and inks to investigate what kind of marks we can create. This class is for children who are unable to attend school due and their supportive adult. The price allows both of you to take part, giving you time together. It’s more than just an art class it’s a chance to unwind, explore and be in a group of likeminded people in a setting where there’s no rush or expectation on what you produce.
